Please note that there are ongoing smash and grab incidents at both the N1 / 14th ave and N1 / Gordon rd offramps / intersections. Regard these as crime hot spots and avoid them or be very careful and alert if you have to travel through them. Please hide possessions and try not to look like an easy target. - At the intersections of Wilgerood & Christaan De Wet
There have been several incidents of Smash & Grab at the intersections of Wilgerood and Christaan De Wet. These have occurred around in the early evening with the victims mainly female. Usually vehicles targeted are the ones coming from Hendrik Potgieter that want to turn right into Wilgerrood. Please be especially on the alert in this area and contact the sector patrol vehicle FM6 (072 253 7684) to report any suspicious persons.
